Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Grill Cook to join our team at Selrico Services Inc. Café in North Charleston, South Carolina. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry. As a Grill Cook, you will play an essential role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our menu items, while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. SECURE FACILITY: NO PHONES OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED ON BASE - LANDLINE AVAILABLE, IF NEEDED. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position is $18 per hour and paid weekly. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in a timely and efficient manner, following all recipes and quality standards
• Operate and maintain all grill equipment, ensuring it is properly cleaned and sanitized
• Monitor food inventory and notify management of any shortages or ordering needs
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Interact with customers and take orders, providing friendly and efficient service
• Communicate any customer concerns or feedback to management
• Assist with stocking and organizing kitchen supplies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:

• R.E.A.L. ID: REAL ID | Homeland Security (dhs.gov)
• Food Handler Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Grill Cook in a fast-paced restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass Military background check
