St. Paul, Catholic School, committed to academic excellence and spiritual development, is seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to provide instruction and supervision in the absence of regular classroom teachers. Substitute teachers are expected to maintain a positive learning environment, follow lesson plans, and uphold the values and mission of Catholic education.
Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the classroom teacher.
Manage classroom behavior and maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive environment.
Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and other school settings.
Follow school rules, policies, and emergency procedures.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators.
Integrate Catholic values in behavior, interactions, and classroom management.
Maintain confidentiality regarding students and school matters.
Complete end-of-day notes or reports for the returning teacher.
Bachelor’s degree (required).
Valid teaching credential or substitute permit (preferred or as required by local diocese/state).
Prior classroom or youth supervision experience preferred.
Willingness to support and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Must complete diocesan Safe Environment / VIRTUS training.
Background check and fingerprint clearance required.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
