Climate Engineering Companies is a leading heavy-duty truck and trailer repair provider with multiple locations, dedicated to delivering high-quality service and support to our customers. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our growing team in Springfield, MA. As a key member of our Service Department, the Service Writer plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and accurate processing of service orders and invoices, supporting both our Service Managers and Technicians. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Service Managers and Service Technicians to process daily paperwork and service orders
• Ensure accuracy and timely processing of orders by adhering to established service processes
• Process payments for COD customers, including credit cards, priority cards, and com-checks
• Enter service orders into the system daily and manage all open and completed orders
• Provide support and serve as a back-up for Service Writers at other company locations as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in data entry and customer service
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent phone and communication skills, with the ability to remain professional in stressful situations
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively to complete projects with minimal errors
• Experience in the truck or trailer industry is a plus, but not required

Full-time position with immediate openings. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
