The role of the RDU Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care, in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act, to those patients experiencing a health care condition of varying acuity,
The RDU RN is responsible for the age-appropriate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care within a designated time period,
The RDU RN provides nursing care based on department and regulatory requirements,
It is the responsibility of the RDU RN to implement the Hospital's Mission and goals in settings where patients require complex assessment, high-intensity therapies and interventions and continuous nursing vigilance,
RDU RNs rely upon a specialized body of knowledge, skills and experience to provide care to patients and families and create environments that are healing, humane and caring,
The RDU RN is a patient advocate, respecting and supporting the basic values, rights and beliefs of all patient populations,
This RN requires an RN license, BSN preferred,
