Expected compensation: 35.00 - 45.00 USD Per Hour

What You’ll Help Us With - Auditing incoming safety annotations to ensure quality (i.e. accuracy, precision and recall).
- Development of model-training guidelines and ontologies, operating as the subject matter expert in areas of specialization and professional expertise.
- Conduct independent quality evaluations of data produced by field experts, ensuring alignment with project standards.
- Provide expert, detailed, and actionable feedback autonomously to help enhance/improve the quality of educational content created by specialists.
- Provide subject matter expertise on projects with researchers to offer insights/feedback, giving explanation and correction for research targets to align with area of SME, ensuring specialized, technical and professional data is accurate and reflected in model capabilities.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to the internal team, engaging on a project basis to discuss, refine, and ensure the accuracy and area of SME is in adherence to guidelines for the overall model goals.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a related field
- Experience in Trust and Safety
- Experience developing training documentation or SOPs
- Experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office
- Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in specialized areas
- Ability to take direction and deliver results efficiently
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and desktop/laptop capable of supporting the latest version of Chrome
- Sensitivity and resilience training preferred
- Experience with knowledge management software such as Confluence or Notion is a plus
Commitment: This is an ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. This role will be remote and available to candidates local to the West Coast area who are able to work 40 hours per week.
