As an IT Systems Technician , you will be an essential member of our Information Technology team, providing foundational technical support and contributing to the maintenance of our IT systems. System Administration

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, workstations, and related infrastructure.
  • Support routine tasks to maintain the security and integrity of systems.
  • Assist the cybersecurity team in implementing basic security policies and protocols.
  • Contribute to documentation for system configurations and procedures.

Technical Support

  • Provide hands-on technical support for end-users, addressing basic hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving simple system-related problems.
  • Respond to incoming support requests, escalating issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve technical issues and contribute to effective problem resolution.
  • Contribute to documenting processes, configurations, and procedures to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.

Infrastructure Support

  • Collaborate with team members to understand and contribute to system requirements.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the System Technician Lead and other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient IT environment.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment, providing support to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights, and contributing to collaborative problem-

Education

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certifications (Preferred But Not Required)

  • Basic understanding of IT support concepts.
  • Internships, coursework, or certifications related to IT support are a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages used within ServiceNow.
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, LDAP, and other integration technologies.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and CSM.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and Performance Analytics.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services is a plus.

Specialized Skills

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to modern technologies and applications.
  • Strong interest in IT with a desire to pursue a career in IT support.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic documentation skills.

The starting hourly range for this full-time position in Irvine, CA is $26.54 - $33.18 per hour. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
