Overview:
The Human Resources (HR) Assistant supports the HR department with daily administrative tasks and plays a key role in recruitment, and organizational support. This position ensures the smooth operation of HR processes and contributes to maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee job board postings by creating, updating, and removing listings to support timely and accurate recruitment efforts. Experience with JazzHR and Handshake preferred.
• Conducts initial phone screenings with applicants to assess qualifications, experience, and alignment with position requirements before scheduling interviews with hiring managers
• Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews including confirming availability, sending invitations, and ensuring interviewers are prepared with necessary materials
• Send out all employee correspondence, including but not limited to memos and mass mailings.
• Provide training packets and sign-in sheets for employees as needed.
• Create Applications, New Hire Paperwork and Benefits packets as needed.
• Mail monthly training calendar and letters to all per diem staff
• Assist with monthly OMIG Medicaid Fraud Check
• Complete and update Employee Handbooks as needed.
• File Human Resources documents daily; both personnel and health care information.
• Collaborate with the IT Director and participate on the social media team to create and post content that highlights agency culture, employee engagement, recruitment initiatives and recreational events.
• Maintain Confidentiality
• Work closely with Human Resources Director on special projects and provide back-up support as needed.
