Full Job DescriptionOur client, a leading finance company, is seeking an experienced Podcast Executive Producer to serve as a consultant in building and growing a compelling podcast. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in podcast production, storytelling, content planning and audience development. Reporting to the Global Head of Video, Digital Marketing Content the Executive Producer will work closely with the company's leadership, marketing and in-house production teams to create a high-quality podcast that enhances brand authority and engages a targeted audience.This role will start as 40 hours per week and will be hybrid onsite in ManhattanResponsibilities:- Work collaboratively with the reporting manager to help strategically define the development and growth plan for the podcast- Define the vision, format, and editorial direction for the podcast, ensuring alignment with the company's brand, industry trends, and audience interests.- Guide the creation of engaging episodes, including scripting, guest selection, and storytelling techniques that resonate with the finance audience and investors.- Provide recommendations on recording setup, editing workflow, sound design, and distribution platforms to ensure professional production quality.- Develop strategies for audience acquisition, engagement, and retention through digital marketing, SEO, and social media.- Analyze podcast metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement in content delivery and audience reach.- Work alongside internal teams and liaise with internal stakeholders to integrate the podcast within the companys broader content strategy and business goals.Qualifications:- 10+ years experience as an Executive Producer for podcasts.- Strong knowledge of finance industry trends and ability to translate complex topics into engaging content, or similar corporate B2B experience with some finance background.- Experience in building and growing a podcast channel soup to nuts.- Expertise in audio storytelling, editing, and production workflows.- Familiarity with podcast distribution platforms, analytics tools, and monetization strategies.- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to guide teams in executing a successful podcast strategy.This is a freelance/consulting position with the opportunity to shape a high-impact financial podcast from the ground up.
