PAY RANGE: $17.50 - $18.00 Hourly DOE

JOB TYPE: Part-Time

HOURS: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Must be available weekends)

LOCATION: Santa Maria

JOB TITLE: Direct Support Professional I/II

Independent & Supported Living Services

We’re looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and help individuals with disabilities learn, grow, and become more independent. If you have a passion for working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we want to meet YOU!

✨ JOB DESCRIPTION ✨

Coaching in Daily Living Skills : Provide one-on-one coaching to support daily activities.
Community Resource Education : Assist in using community resources.
Accurate Record Keeping : Maintain ID notes and communication logs related to Individual Service Plans (ISPs) .
Household Support : Help with meal prep, maintaining a clean and organized home, budgeting, and transportation.
Medication Management : Assist with medication and record keeping.
Personal Care : Help with medical/dental appointments and all aspects of personal care.
Social Skills Development : Support individuals in attending social activities to enhance social skills.
Public Transportation Training : Teach program participants to use public transportation and access benefits like Social Security , SSI , IHSS , and Section 8 housing .
Transfers Assistance : Help individuals with both weight-bearing and non-weight-bearing transfers.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent
Clear live scan background check and physical
Reliable transportation : Must have a valid CA driver's license and vehicle insurance
