Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is hiring a Journey-Level Data Governance Analyst to support the National Park Service (NPS) in implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards as part of a broader enterprise data management initiative. This role contributes to the development, documentation, and execution of data governance practices across systems and teams. This is a full-time position contingent upon contract award, with potential remote flexibility upon approval.
Data Governance Support Duties:
Support the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise data dictionaries and metadata inventories.
Assist in implementing data standards and governance policies across the organization.
Contribute to data quality improvement initiatives by supporting standardization and best practices.
Help document governance policies, procedures, and workflows.
Support the NPS Data Governance Committee through scheduling, documentation, and reporting tasks.
Assist with the development of internal communications and website content for data governance awareness.
Contribute to reporting and performance tracking for governance-related tasks.
Help identify, document, and prioritize ongoing governance activities and workstreams.
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NAC) or National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI).
Experience:
Experience supporting enterprise data governance programs and policy implementation.
Background working with data documentation and governance tools.
Familiarity with supporting governance-related meetings, reports, and communications.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related technical field required.
Skills:
Understanding of data structures, databases, and metadata.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and government environments.
