As a Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist Senior you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on you joining our team. **THE PROGRAM:** Work on the program responsible for maintaining several systems and networks that provide the infrastructure platforms for the Agency capabilities and data. This team is accountable for system administration, identity and authentication, information system security accreditation, data storage and backup, physical infrastructure maintenance, and automation development. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** You will be part of a team that develops, operates, maintains, and enhances a suite of cybersecurity tools deployed across secure enclaves to support incident response, threat detection, and event monitoring. The team integrates data from centralized and local system sources, ensuring effective and timely responses to cybersecurity events. The team creates new applications, algorithms, and automation to optimize workflows and improve data analysis. Additionally, the team collaborates to integrate security requirements into technical solutions and conducts ongoing research to incorporate emerging technologies, enhancing the Agency's overall cybersecurity posture and ensuring that tools and infrastructure remain operational, resilient, and adaptable to evolving threats. **WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED** : 8+ years' experience with: + Linux based environment administration (preferred) + Testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity (preferred). + Developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity (preferred). + Integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks (preferred). + Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms, and python (preferred). **Certifications (at least one of the following is preferred)** + Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) + AWS Certified Cloud practitioner + AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate ● **Education** : Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree/Experience: Minimum Education: Bachelors in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field with a minimum of 6 years' experience. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
