Job Description

Make an impact in Norristown, Pennsylvania, as a Behavioral Health Clinical Manager within Montgomery County Residentials, a program within the nationally recognized Resources for Human Development (RHD) organization!

About the role:

The Clinical Manager is responsible for providing clinical support and leadership to staff and participants. The Clinical Manager assists with the development, implementation, and monitoring of programmatic systems, and works with Program Director to develop new strategies to ensure needs and best practices are incorporated into the program design.

Positive Resolutions is dedicated to enriching the lives of mentally ill adults by focusing on reducing the barriers to reaching their fullest potential and establishing supportive partnerships in recovery-oriented settings. Started 2001.

DIRECT DUTIES: 

  • Provide supervision and evaluation of staff including E.H.R oversight and approval of notes as rendering provider for billing. 
  • Implement and maintain program policy and procedures and continuous quality improvement measures. 
  • Monitor and maintain program budget. 


Administrative Functions: 

  • Coordinates, facilitates, and documents treatment and services for program participants, groups and individuals. 
  • Document and submit all clinical interactions in a timely manner. 
  • All other duties as identified by the Program Director. 


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Master’s Degree required in Psychology, Social Work, or related field. 
  • Five years’ experience managing a diverse team of clinician and medical staff. 
  • 3 years’ experience working with MH/IDD, D&A/Homeless population.

  • Life-saving measures (CPR) and first aid certifications.
  • Budget management.
  • Previous supervisor/management experience in group home/residential setting.
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the appropriate. regulations, Apis values and program policies and procedures. 
  • Basic computer and internet literacy with the ability to utilize applications like emails, time recording and other programs to enter and retrieve data as necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. 
  • Subject to employment screenings, including FBI clearance, if applicable.
